Barking Railway Station attack – CCTV Image

British Transport Police have released a CCTV image after a reported attack and criminal damage at railway station, London.

The incident at the station happened between 9.40 am, and 10.20 am on Thursday, 6 February 2020.

A man entered a phone shop at Barking station. He has then ripped CCTV cameras from the ceiling, tackled staff and smashed the shop's front window.

More than a thousand pounds worth of damage is reported to have been caused.

Officers would like to speak to the man in the image who may have information that could help their investigation into the attack at Barking Railway Station.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.

In both cases, quote reference number 157 of 06/02/20.
