Restoration Update on Canadian Pacific Project’s coaches

The Canadian Pacific Project has released an update on the restoration work being carried on their Southern Railway Bulleid-designed coaches.

1947 Open Third No.1456

This coach is currently nearing the end of restoration by the team and should enter traffic late this year.

Recent work has seen the external paintwork being finished in Southern Railway livery, with “Southern” written on the sides.

Much refitting work has been taking place inside has taken places, with end door, toilet sink and ceilings have been installed. Plumbing for the sink will be completed soon.

1948 Semi-Open Brake Third No.4367

Once 1456 is completed and back in traffic, efforts will be turned to 4367.
