South Western Railway has confirmed that a freight train has derailed at Eastleigh, is causing disruption through the station.
Train services may be cancelled, delayed or may also be diverted on another route.
It is anticipated that rail disruption will continue until the end of service.
To assist passengers with their journeys, South Western Railway passengers may use their tickets on:
- Great Western Railway services between Portsmouth Harbour and Salisbury via Southampton Central
Replacement buses have been requested to run between Fareham, Southampton Central, Eastleigh and Basingstoke.
