The has announced that the new cylinder patterns for their Great Western Railway 7800 “Manor” Class No.7802 “Bradley Manor” have been completed.

The list of repairs needed to be carried out to return 7802 to service includes replacing both cylinder blocks (estimated to cost £150,000), requiring patterns in the process of producing the new set.

Thankfully the majority of the cost will be covered under insurance, but financing replacement of the piston rod, along with other components, will be needed to be provided by the Fund itself.

Can you help the Fund, through donations, raise this sum of money to ensure “Bradley Manor” returns to traffic?
