The Bala Lake Railway has announced that Hunslet 0-4-0ST ‘Winifred' will steam into Bala Town Station next summer.
The Bala Lake Railway is planning to lay a short section of track at the station site in summer of 2020.
This section of track will allow people an idea of what passenger services could look like when the extension into the town is complete.
A miniature railway will complement Winifred's day into the town.
More attractions will be available at the Bala Town Open Day, with more details to follow.
