Steam locomotive 5526 set to visit the East Anglian Railway Museum

The has announced that they will be welcoming GWR Small Prairie No. 5526 in 2020.

5526 will be heading to the East Anglian Railway Museum for their Spring Steam Gala, held on the 14th and 15th March 2020.

The Prairie will be running alongside resident locomotives RSH 0-6-0 No 54 “Penn Green”, Bagnell 0-4-0 “Jubilee” and Andrew Barclay 0-4-0 No 11.

The gala will also see an extensive timetable in operation, including passenger, freight and shunting demonstrations.

There is also an opportunity to drive 5526 on the 13th & 18th March, for the bargain price of £150. Full details to be announced in due course, please check the EARM website for more details.
