The has announced they have launched the Bridge Appeal.

The Bridge was built in the 1800s and recently has had a lot of wear and tear with heavy passenger trains running over it.

The replacement will cost a total of £120,000, this appeal has been set up in order to cover the cost of the replacement.

Spring 2020 is when the team hopes to lift the concrete beams into place.

The Bahamas Locomotive Society will assist the railway with this with their 50-tonne steam crane.
