The Severn Valley Railway has announced that GWR ‘Hall' No. 6960 Raveningham Hall will be staying with them for longer than expected.
Raveningham Hall will be staying at the Severn Valley Railway until 2021.
In 2021, 6960's boiler ticket will expire, meaning the locomotive will have to under go a major overhaul.
This extended loan period is thanks to an agreement between the Severn Valley Railway and the Locomotive 6960 Ltd.
6960 has been popular with visitors at the Severn Valley Railway, so is excellent to see it staying a little while longer.
