Steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower heading for York this Sunday

LNER B1 No. 61306 Mayflower will be making a rare visit to York this Sunday, 17th November 2019.

The B1 locomotive is heading from Ealing Broadway to York as part of a Steam Dreams Excursion.

Departing Ealing Broadway at 08:34, the locomotive will then pass through Willesden Junction (08:46), West Hampstead (08:56), Alexandra Palace (09:31), Potters Bar (09:47), Stevenage (10:12), Sandy (10:37), Peterborough (11:33), Metheringham (12:33), Lincoln Central (12:45), Gainsborough Lea Road (13:25), Doncaster (13:53) and York at 15:09.

Here, Mayflower is taken off the train and the return trip is hauled by a diesel or electric locomotive.

Departing York at 18:06, the train will pass through Doncaster (18:35), Newark North Gate (19:02), Grantham (19:34), Peterborough (20:01), Hitchin (21:02), Potters Bar (21:28), Alexandra Palace (21:40), Finsbury Park (21:53), West Hampstead (22:20), Acton Main Line (22:41) and Ealing Broadway at 23:06.
