Unfortunately, we are again reporting the sad news that someone has been hit by a train between Grantham and Newark North Gate.

This is, therefore, causing disruption on the East Coast Main Line between Doncaster and Peterborough.

The northbound line has been reopened however the southbound line remains closed.

Services are said to be cancelled, delayed by up to 120 minutes or revised.

Some trains are also being diverted between Doncaster and Peterborough.

It is anticipated that disruption will last until 12 – however, we will keep this page updated when updates come through.
