British Transport Police look to identify man after woman assaulted at Fareham station

The are looking to identify a man after a woman was assaulted at railway station, in Hampshire.

The assault happened at approximately 7.25 am on 28 September at Fareham station.

A woman was waiting to board a train when an unknown man approached her from behind and grappled her.

He said “you're coming with me”, frightening the victim.

The woman then pulled away from the suspect, who continued to harass her. The victim left the platform to find help.

Officers believe the man shown in this CCTV image may have information would help them investigate.
