officers investigating two separate vandalisms at Metro stations in Sunderland and Tyne and Wear have released images of two boys they wish to speak with.

The first incident happened on 30 August at East Boldon Metro station. The ticket machine screen was smashed, causing extensive damage.

A couple of days later on 2 September, several large glass panels were also smashed at St Peters Metro station.

Following a review of CCTV, officers believe the incidents are linked.  Repairs to the ticket machine and glass panels are expected to be over £5,000.
