The South Devon Railway has announced that 1369 has returned to steam.
The locomotive has been out of traffic for the past two years after her last boiler ticket ran out.
The cold boiler was warmed slowly and tested on Tuesday.
GWR 1369 will now be put through a number of tests before she is ready to haul passenger services once again.
Pending successful tests, 1369 will be hauling some of our passenger trains during October!
