Rail passengers using Birmingham New Street station will be able to discuss this summer's timetable changes on Monday.

As part of the ‘Whistle Stop Tour' initiative, officials will be on hand to answer questions from 7.45am through to 6.15pm on Monday 16 September.

The session follows the introduction of West Midlands Railway's new timetable in May which brought in more peak-time services.

Passengers at Birmingham Moor Street will have the chance to ask questions of Chiltern Railways staff at a separate ‘Meet The Manager' event on Wednesday 18 September from 6.30-9am.

What did the officials say?

Richard Brooks, customer experience director for West Midlands Railway, said:

“Our timetable improvements earlier in the summer introduced more direct services to destinations across our network and improved capacity on some of our busiest services.

“We have already taken on board feedback from across the network and I am pleased this ‘Whistle Stop Tour' event will give our passengers another chance to discuss our timetables and services directly with our staff.”
