The is launching an appeal to re-instate the demolished building at Sheringham railway station.

The appeal is for £185,000 and will improve the facilities that the NNR can provide to its visitors.

The building will provide shelter and seating for both visitors and passengers arriving or departing from this platform.

These structures will be replicas of those demolished by British Railways. This is because the buildings were demolished by British Railways before the North Norfolk Railway became a heritage railway.

The new building will complete the restoration of the station and will look like the station that was closed by BR in the 1960s.

The NNR appreciates all donations towards this appeal.

If you can donate, please do so by clicking here.
