Work to install 310 glass panels onto the new station frontage at Glasgow Queen Street has been completed.
The panels cover an area of 734m2 and are 21m high from floor to ceiling and mark another milestone in the work being carried out at the station, which first opened in 1842.
The £120m transformation also includes work to lengthen platforms 4 and 5 to accommodate new 8 carriage electric train.
The expanded concourse will double the size of the station and includes full-accessible entrances on Dundas Street and George Square.

Network Rail project manager Joe Mulvenna said:
“The redevelopment of Queen Street will deliver a new landmark building for the city and with the completion of the front glazing passengers can really begin to see just how much their station has been transformed.
“Our engineers are working hard around-the-clock to complete this project for Scotland's Railway.”
