The North Tyneside Railway will be holding its annual diesel gala this September as it welcomes a special visitor.
Visiting from the Derwent Valley Railway, Class 03 03079 will be visiting thanks to Trevor Humbey and the DVLR Society.
Running alongside 03079 will be 03078 and 08915. 03079 and 03078 worked together at Gateshead MPD between 1976 and 1988.
As a special treat, 08915 will be running in the identity of lost classmate 08802, which was withdrawn from Gateshead in 1983.
