Continuing down the Settle and Carlisle line, the locomotive will pass over the Ribblehead Viaduct at approx 15:56, continuing to Settle, the train comes off the Settle and Carlisle line at Settle Junction (16:15) where it heads for Hellifield, for a water stop, at 16:22.

From here, 6201 will pass through Clitheroe (17:09) and Blackburn (17:34) before arriving into Preston at 17:56.

At Preston, 6201 is taken off the train, and an electric locomotive will take the same path back to London Euston, calling at Crewe (19:27), Lichfield Trent Valley (20:14), Rugby (20:50), Milton Keynes Central (21:20) and Watford Junction at 22:02.
