Steam locomotive heading for Weymouth this Thursday

Steam locomotive No.61306 Mayflower will be back in steam on the mainline and will be passing through Southampton and Bournemouth on Thursday, 15th August 2019.

The B1 Class locomotive is on a railtour this Thursday. 61306 is hauling a tour from Weymouth to Weymouth.

The locomotive will depart London Victoria at 08:04, and will then pass through Clapham Junction (08:09), Wimbledon (08:41), Leatherhead (09:17), Guildford (09:43), Petersfield (10:17), Cosham (10:55), Southampton Central (11:46), Beaulieu Road (12:09), Bournemouth (12:48), Wareham (13:11), Moreton (13:23) and Weymouth (13:41).

The return journey will see the 61306 depart Weymouth at 17:43, and will then pass through Moreton (17:59), Wareham (18:13), Poole (18:22), Bournemouth (18:32), Brockenhurst (18:53), Southampton Central (19:26), St Denys (19:37), Eastleigh (19:43), Fareham (20:09), Haslemere (20:54), Guildford (21:30), Leatherhead (21:56), Cheam (22:13), Herne Hill (22:58), Clapham High Street (23:07) and West Brompton at 23:26.
