Steam locomotive No.6233 Duchess of Sutherland will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in London and Minehead on Saturday 17th August 2019.
The Duchess locomotive is on a special rail tour from London Paddington to Minehead.
The steam locomotive will depart London Paddington at approximately 08:00 am.
The railtour will then leave the London Paddington, bound for Minehead, where it will pass through Southall (08:14), Slough (08:32), Twyford (08:54), Reading (09:04), Newbury (10:13), Westbury (11:15), Frome (11:38), Castle Cary (12:06), Taunton (12:33), Bishops Lydeard (13:00) and Minehead at 14:50.
Between Bishops Lydeard and Minehead, a West Somerset Railway train will take passengers on the longest heritage railway in the UK.
After around 3 hours, the locomotive will depart Minehead for London Paddington, it will pass through Bishops Lydeard (18:33), Taunton (18:49), Castle Cary (19:24), Westbury (19:51), Woodborough (20:16), Newbury (21:10), Reading (21:39), Twyford (21:49), Slough (22:03), West Ealing (22:30) and London Paddington at 22:47.
