Steam locomotives heading for Portsmouth this Saturday

Not one, but two steam locomotives will be heading for Portsmouth this weekend as they haul a Steam Dreams railtour from London Waterloo.

LNER B1 No.61306 Mayflower and LMS Black 5 No.44871 will haul the tour in a top ‘n’ tailed formation.

Departing London Waterloo at 08:13, the duo will then pass through Brixton (08:38), Wimbledon (09:11), Surbiton (09:27), Woking (09:46), Guildford (09:57), Haslemere (10:28), Fratton (11:21) and Portsmouth Harbour at 11:48.

The locos will then haul a separate tour to Salisbury, timings of which will be linked here when available.

After the separate tour, the locos will depart Portsmouth at 19:55, and will then pass through Fratton (20:04), Havant (20:16), Haslemere (20:48), Guildford (21:30), Woking (21:39), Wimbledon (22:02), Clapham Junction (22:07) and London Waterloo at 22:15.
