Steam locomotive takes to the tracks this Wednesday

Steam locomotive No.34046 Braunton will be back in steam on the mainline and will be passing through Bath Spa and Castle Cary on Wednesday 3rd July 2019.

The West Country Class locomotive is on a railtour this Wednesday. 34046 is hauling a tour from Bristol to Weymouth.

The locomotive will depart Bristol at 07:35, it will then pass through Keynsham (07:45), Bath Spa (07:56), Bradford-on-Avon (08:13), Westbury (08:33), Castle Cary (09:01), Yeovil Pen Mill (09:24), Maiden Newton (10:08), Dorchester West (10:20) and finally Weymouth (10:33).

The return journey will see the locomotive depart Weymouth at 16:09, the train will pass through Maiden Newton (16:36), Yeovil Pen Mill (17:13), Castle Cary (17:44), Frome (18:22), Westbury (18:49), Bradford-on-Avon (19:07), Bath Spa (19:24), Keynsham (19:53) and Bristol Temple Meads at 20:09.
