The Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway has announced that Jessie will be making a visit to them in 2019.
The industrial locomotive will be visiting the line for the Summer months to help haul passenger trains.
Jessie visits for the summer thanks to the Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway.
You may remember that Taff Vale 85 has just arrived home after a lengthy loan to the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway from the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
Running dates for Jessie will be announced very soon. Once we hear anything then we will let you know.
Jessie was built in 1937 by Hunslet in Leeds. It is a 0-6-0ST and is numbered 1873.

That’s great news! Industrial steam is every bit as historically important as its main line counterpart. A mantra that we carry through to @chimewhistle books! I visited @deanforestrailway to see ‘Jessie’ working during the line’s steam gala and it proved as popular, with enthusiasts and the public alike, as 5199 and 5541 which were both working that same weekend.
