Steam locomotive heading for Winchester this Thursday

61306 Mayflower will be back on the mainline this Thursday as it heads for the Eastleigh.

Departing Southend East at 09:06, the train will head via Pitsea (09:23), Upminster (09:41), Barking (09:55), Stratford (10:31), Gospel Oak (10:58), Acton Central (11:20), Brentford (11:31), Staines (11:48), Chertsey (12:04), Woking (12:34), Fleet (12:52), Winchester (13:39) and Eastleigh at 13:55.

After a break at Eastleigh, the train will depart at 16:43. Then, the train will pass through Shawford (16:57), Winchester (17:02), Basingstoke (17:38), Reading (18:03), Twyford (18:09), Southall (18:44) and Hanwell Bridge Loop at 18:48.

Here, Mayflower is taken off the train, with the train returning to Southend East diesel hauled. The train will pass through Acton Main Line (19:30), Stratford (20:28), Barking (20:43), Upminster (21:02) and Southend East at 21:34.
