The has announced that they have accepted a contract opportunity, which is an excellent opportunity for the line.

The contract work will take place between Monday 15th July 2019 and Wednesday 17th July 2019.

This means that trains will only be able to run between Bridgnorth and Highley during this period, with the Engine House being open.

The SVR recommend that you start your journey at Bridgnorth, where you will find ample car parking.

The ‘Freedom of the Line' ticket has been reduced for the three days, and includes FREE entry into The Engine House Visitor Centre at Highley Station.

Normal service between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth will resume from Thursday 18th July 2019.
