Passengers can get set for summer by booking Advance tickets for cheap travel on network.

The earlier passengers book their tickets, the more likely that you are to make great savings on journeys to more than 200 destinations across the network.

Passengers can also make more savings with SWR's 2 for 1 offer on attractions, restaurants, museums, and much more when they book advance tickets.

For a family of four, booking early with Advance tickets could mean big savings on return journeys:

There are other ticket options, especially for spontaneous travellers. Off-Peak and Super Off-Peak tickets offer a great deal for those who want a quick day out to explore the south-west of England.

Passengers can make the most of these deals this summer by booking their tickets through SWR's app, station ticket offices or website, southwesternrailway.com/summer.

What did the officials say?

Peter Williams, South Western Railway's Commercial Director, said:

“Great days stay with you when can you make big savings on journeys to over 200 destinations this summer.

“By booking in advance, our passengers can discover and explore the sights and sounds of London, sandy beaches of Dorset, Portsmouth Harbour's maritime history, the tranquillity of the Isle of Wight and the heritage of Windsor, and many other destinations, more cheaply.

“Passengers can start booking their great adventures this summer by using the app, website or visit our stations to find the best tickets that suit their journey.”

  • This is a message to South Western Railway. Please do bring back the London Waterloo-Corfe Castle & Swanage summer service. If they are to do summer services then they should bring back the Corfe Castle & Swanage service. With their Class 158 DMUs.
