Steam locomotive 7029 Clun Castle heading for Ironbridge this Sunday

Steam locomotive 7029 Clun Castle will be back on the mainline this Sunday as it hauls a very special railtour.

Clun Castle is heading to Ironbridge from Dorridge.

Departing Dorridge at 08:13, the train will pass through Solihull (08:18), Tyseley (08:25), Birmingham New Street (08:38), Bescot Stadium (09:10), Wolverhampton (09:23), Cosford (09:34), Wellington (09:56), and Shrewsbury (10:25).

After around an hour and a half in Shrewsbury, the train will depart at 11:48. The train will then pass through Wellington (12:06), Telford Central (12:14), Madeley Jn (12:20), Ironbridge Ps Stopboard (13:01), Madeley Jn (14:00), Telford Central (14:08) and finally Wellington at 14:15.
