has released the timetable for the rail replacement bus service that is taking place in July and August.

The train operator gave notice of the restricted train service back in April for the 16 days.

This is because of engineering work to prepare for the introduction of TfL's new Barking Riverside train service.

Trains will be running from Ockendon, Chafford Hundred, Grays, Purfleet and Rainham in an anti-clockwise direction only.

Rail replacement bus services will run in the opposite direction as detailed below:

Customers are asked to plan ahead and to be flexible in their travel plans where they can between 20 July to 4 August.

  • Network Rail should start replacing overhead wires between Fenchurch Street-Bromley-by-Bow/West Ham as the overhead wires are getting old and needs replacing as they are replacing overhead wires on the GEML and Southend Victoria Line.
