The East Lancashire Railway has announced that they have added extra dates to their Afternoon Tea Experience in 2019.
Why not treat yourself this summer to a British Afternoon out in the Irwell Valley, relax in a first class dining carriage and enjoy some good food!
Tickets cost just £39 a person – great value for a trip behind a steam locomotive!

- 7, 20, 27 Sep 2019
The menu features:
- A slice of Homemade Sausage Plait
- Crispy Filo Parcels with Leek Ribbons
- Lancashire Cheese and Homemade Chutney on Granary Bread
- Topside of Beef, Roasted Vine Tomatoes and Horseradish Sauce on White Bread
- Free Range Egg Mayonnaise, Watercress and Rocket on Wholemeal Bread
- Homemade Scone with Strawberry Conserve and Clotted Cream
- A selection of Mini Cakes
- Tea and Coffee
