East Midlands Trains Launch Family Ticket for the Summer

East Midlands Trains have launched a great value Family Ticket for summer holidays.

From Monday 17 June, families will be able to take advantage of a great new deal from East Midlands Trains to travel to and from London St Pancras International throughout the summer.

The £80 fixed priced tickets enable a family of up two adults and four children to travel to and from London from East Midlands Trains stations on the Midland Main Line along with selected local lines.

The offer provides a saving of up to £120 on selected and can be booked up until 23:59 for travel the next day.

Tickets will be valid for weekday travel from Monday 22 July – Friday 6 September 2019 (excluding August Bank Holiday).  The tickets are subject to availability.

Passengers wishing to take the opportunity to purchase the family ticket must book reservations for both their outbound and return journeys at Eastmidlandstrains.co.uk and there are limited tickets available.

“As we know, entertaining children throughout the school holidays can be challenging and expensive, so we have introduced this new ticket for the summer that offers a more cost effective way for families to try the train and leave the car behind for the day.

“It's a wonderful way to introduce rail travel to a younger audience and with many entertaining destinations that can be reached on our network; we are hopeful that passengers take the opportunity to travel with the new ticket this summer”.
