The Bluebell Railway has released an update on the repair work taking place on 73082 Camelot.

The left-hand side trailing driving wheelset manganese axle box liner repairs are now complete, and the frames were reunited with the wheelset back in early May.

Whilst the locomotive was in the works, other maintenance items were attended to. This included replacing some brass bushes on the valve gear and attending to the blowdown valve.

The locomotive then became the first to use the maintenance shed.

Whilst out of traffic, Camelot had its annual boiler exam completed. This passed parts one and two successfully.

73082 Camelot then returned to traffic on the 1st June 2019.
