Steam locomotive 9466 up for sale

The has announced that the decision has been made to sell the locomotive.

9466 is currently owned by Dennis Howells, who sadly passed away recently.

The family of Dennis would like to thank everyone who has posted tributes to him.

Dennis lovingly restored 9466 and took pride in running the locomotive on the mainline and at heritage railways.

Expressions of interest in the purchase of 9466 are now invited.  The closing date for expressions of interest will be 12:00 noon BST on Tuesday 7th May, 2019.

The deadline for submission of tenders will be 12:00 noon BST on Monday 13th May.
