Steam locomotive 7029 Clun Castle heading for Hereford this Saturday

Steam locomotive 7029 Clun Castle will be back in steam on the mainline on Saturday 25th May 2019.

The GWR Castle locomotive is hauling an excursion from Dorridge to Hereford.

The railtour departs Dorridge at 07:45 behind the locomotive.

The railtour will then pass through Solihull (07:52), Tyseley (08:03), Birmingham Moor Street (08:14), Birmingham Snow Hill (08:22), Smethwick Galton Bridge (08:38), Cradley Heath (08:50), Stourbridge Junction (08:56), Kidderminster (09:03), Worcester Shrub Hill (09:25), Cheltenham Spa (10:38), Gloucester (10:46), Lydney (11:07), Cwmbran (11:54), Abergavenny (12:11) and Hereford at 12:41.

The return trip will see 7029 Clun Castle depart Hereford at 17:18, and will pass through Leominster (17:34), Church Stretton (18:06), Wellington (18:37), Telford Central (18:44), Wolverhampton (19:08), Tame Bridge Parkway (19:25), Birmingham New Street (19:43), Tyseley (20:07), Solihull (20:16), and Dorridge at 20:25.
