Steam locomotive 70000 Britannia in Preston this Sunday

Steam locomotive 70000 Britannia will be in Preston this Sunday as it returns to Crewe.

This light engine movement is to allow 70000 to return to its base following its railtour on Saturday.

Departing Carlisle High Wapping Sidings at 10:48, it will pass through Carlisle (10:52), Penrith North Lakes (11:19), Tebay (11:41), Oxenholme Lake District (11:54), Lancaster (12:15) and Preston (12:42).

From Preston, the locomotive will head through Leyland (13:19), Wigan North Western (13:35), Warrington Bank Quay (13:48), Winsford (14:20), Crewe (14:30) and finally Crewe H.S. at 15:09.
