Steam locomotive 6201 Princess Elizabeth heading for Carlisle

6201 Princess Elizabeth is returning to the mainline tomorrow, as it heads a section of The Pennine Limited to Carlisle.

6201 will be heading from Hellifield to Carlisle and return.

The tour will depart Norwich at 06:10 behind a diesel locomotive, before heading via Wymondham (06:23), Attleborough (06:23), Thetford (06:53), Brandon (07:04), March (07:47), Peterborough (08:13), Doncaster (09:32), Shipley (10:52) and Hellifield Goods Loop at 11:55.

Here, 6201 is added to the train, departing at 12:15, the locomotive will head via Ribblehead (12:37), Kirkby Stephen (13:01), Appleby (13:12) and Carlisle at 14:11.

The return trip will see 6201 depart Carlisle at 15:46 before heading via Appleby (16:30) and Ribblehead (17:26) before heading into Hellifield at 17:45, where 6201 leaves the train.

The diesel locomotive will take over the train, and will head via Shipley (18:54), Doncaster (20:27), Peterborough (22:00), March (22:22), Brandon (23:11), Thetford (23:22), Attleborough (23:41), Wymondham (23:51) and finally Norwich (00:07).
