Steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower is heading for London this Friday

61306 Mayflower is heading for London on the final day of the Highland and Islands multi-day tour.

This tour has seen Mayflower tour the highlands of Scotland and is now on its way south after double heading with Flying Scotsman last week.

Departing Carnforth at 10:37, the train will pass through Lancaster (10:48), Preston (11:33), Wigan North Western (11:53), Warrington Bank Quay (12:10), Winsford (12:48), Crewe (13:13), Stafford (15:18), Nuneaton (16:22) and Rugby (17:17).

From Rugby, Mayflower will pass through Northampton (18:13), Bletchley (18:38), Watford Junction (19:09), Wembley Central (19:20) and London Euston at 19:35.
