The Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust has released an update on 6233 Duchess of Sutherland.
Since the failure last week, 6233 Duchess of Sutherland has been sat at Rugby Carriage Sidings, this was to allow West Coast Railways to arrange a path back to the Midland Railway Centre.
The path is now arranged, timings can be found here, and has meant that the support crew and engineer have returned to the locomotive to prepare 6233 for the move tonight.
Once back at the West Shed, the locomotive will be split from her tender and will be prepared to be lifted off her bogie so it can be stripped and assessed.
