Where and when to see steam locomotive 60103 Flying Scotsman in Basingstoke this Friday

World famous locomotive Flying Scotsman will be back in steam on the mainline and will be passing through Basingstoke and Kensington Olympia on Friday 12th April 2019.

The A3 locomotive is on a light engine movement.

60103 is moving from the Swanage Railway to West Coast Railway’s depot at Southall, after spending about a month at the heritage railway.

The steam locomotive departs Swanage at 07:13, and will then pass through Corfe Castle (07:28), Wareham (07:49), Bournemouth (08:15), Brockenhurst (08:46), Romsey (10:10), Basingstoke (11:12), Brookwood (11:57), Chertsey (12:32), Brentford (13:11), Clapham Junction (13:31), Kensington Olympia (13:53), Acton Main Line (14:21), Ealing Broadway (14:38 and arrival at Southall Wcr at 16:11.
