Steam locomotives 45212 and 45407 heading for Scotland this Tuesday

Steam locomotives No.45212 and 45407 ‘The Lancashire Fusilier’ will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in Carlisle and Rannoch Tuesday 16th April 2019.

The Black 5 locomotives are on a light engine movement from Carnforth Steamtown to Fort William Yard, in preparation for this years Jacobite season.

The steam locomotive will depart the Carnforth Steamtown at approximately 05:34.

The railtour will then leave the Carnforth Steamtown, where it will steam through Oxenholme (08:01), Carlisle (10:22), Lockerbie (12:39), Carstairs (13:44), Springburn (14:53), Crianlarich (17:59), Rannoch (19:39), and Tulloch (20:16) before arriving into Fort William (21:12).
