Steam locomotive 7752 arrives at the West Somerset Railway

The West Somerset Railway has announced that steam locomotive 7752 has arrived at their base.

7752 has arrived from Tyseley Locomotive Works and joins the fleet for the 2019 season. The locomotive is currently seen in London Transport Red Livery.

This Pannier Tank arrived in Somerset last week, on the 9th April 2019.

7752 is currently in the shed for repainting into Great Western Railway livery, before entering passenger service later in the year.

7752 visits thanks to 7029 Clun Castle Limited, at Tyseley Locomotive Works – the base for Vintage Trains Limited.

More announcements about the locomotive entering service will be made soon.
