Where and when to see steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower on the Mainline tomorrow

Steam locomotive 61306 ‘Mayflower’ will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in Barking and South Croydon on Saturday 23rd March 2019.

The B1 locomotive is hauling an excursion from Southend East to East Grinstead.

The railtour departs Southend East at approximately 07:45 am.

The railtour will then pass through Rainham (08:30), Barking (08:40), Willesden Junction (09:31), Chertsey (10:33), Guildford (11:13), South Croydon (12:10), and finally East Grinstead at 13:02.

The return trip will see 61306 depart East Grinstead at 18:10 and will pass through East Croydon (19:04), Clapham High Street (19:38), Acton Main Line (20:24), Hanwell (20:33), and Hanwell Bridge Loop (20:37). A diesel locomotive will then take the train back to Southend East.
