Where and when to see steam locomotive 60163 Tornado in Edinburgh this week

Steam locomotive 60163 Tornado will be back on the mainline this Thursday, 14th March 2019, and will be heading for Aberdeen.

This is Tornado’s second tour since repair work was completed at the Nene Valley Railway and Barrow Hill.

The train will depart Edinburgh at 10:14, and will pass through places like Haymarket (10:18), Dalmeny (10:30), Kirkcaldy (10:59) Perth (12:14), Invergowrie (12:37), Dundee (12:57), Carnoustie (13:25), Arbroath (13:33), Stonehaven (14:24) and finally Aberdeen (14:44).

The return journey will depart Edinburgh at 17:56 and will pass through Carnoustie (19:08), Dundee (19:26), Perth (20:04), Dalmeny (21:33), Haymarket (21:50) and Edinburgh at 21:58.
