Steam locomotive 6201 Princess Elizabeth on the mainline this Thursday

Steam locomotive 6201 Princess Elizabeth will be out on mainline once again completing test runs after repair work.

On Thursday 28th March 2019, 6201 will be completing a loaded test run on the Carnforth circle, via Hellifield and Blackburn.

Setting off from Carnforth Steamtown at 09:48, the locomotive will pass through Settle Junction (12:53), Hellifield Goods Loop (13:00), Blackburn (15:15), Preston (16:36) and  Lancaster (18:36) before arriving back at Carnforth Steamtown at 20:21.
