Steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower to head through Hemel Hempstead tomorrow

Steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower will be out on the mainline between Carnforth and Southall as it moves to a new depot ahead of mainline tours.

Please note: this is a light engine run, which may be subject to change or cancellation at the last minute. Please check before heading out to see 61306 Mayflower.

Monday 4th March 2019 will see the locomotive operating on the mainline between Carnforth and Southall via Crewe.

The light engine movement will be operated by West Coast Railways.

Departing Carnforth at 10:15, the locomotive will head via Lancaster (10:51), Preston (11:31), Wigan North Western (11:52), Warrington Bank Quay (12:09), Crewe (13:28), Stafford (15:18), Tamworth (15:53), Nuneaton (16:07), Rugby (17:15), Northampton (18:14), Milton Keynes Central (18:33), Hemel Hempstead (19:02), Watford Junction (19:09), Ealing Broadway (20:31), Southall WCRC at 20:53.

It is superb to see Mayflower in action once again.
