WATCH: Steam locomotive 75069 returns to service at the Severn Valley Railway

Saturday 16th February 2019 saw Riddles 4MT 75069 return to service at the Severn Valley Railway.

The return followed its overhaul, which has seen the locomotive out of service for around 20 years.

In this video, 75069 is seen arriving into Kidderminster with her first train from Bridgnorth. It is then seen heading up the headshunt in preparation to run around its train.

A little history of 75069

No.75069 is a Riddles Standard 4MT and was built in 1957 at Swindon Works. It was designed by Brighton Works and has a wheel arrangement of 4-6-0 and is owned by the 75069 fund.
