Steam locomotives 45231 ‘Sherwood Forester’ and 60009 ‘Union of South Africa’ are both on the mainline tomorrow, (18/2/19)

45231 is heading from Mossend Down Yard, (with a Class 47), to her base at Crewe, via the West Coast Mainline.

45231 has been in Scotland for the weekend after hauling a private charter.

60009 is heading back to the East Lancashire Railway from Southall depot to get ready for her railtour on 9th March from York to Carlisle.

The A4 is heading back to the East Lancashire Railway after hauling trains in the south.
