The group building locomotive 61662 Manchester United have released a small update on the work being done.
Progress on the locomotive has been slow recently due to snow fall and the fact that the locomotive is stored outside. This has prevented practical work being completed on 61662.
However, the locomotives boiler cladding is now on order. This is expected to be cut and formed by the middle of March 2019.
It is hoped that the group will have the support framework ready for the boiler cladding to arrive with the group.
Hopefully the weather will warm up a bit and the group can begin work again.
