Where and when to see steam locomotive 70000 Britannia in Chester this Tuesday

Steam locomotive No.70000 Britannia will be out on the mainline and be completing test runs in preparation for upcoming 2019 tours.

Please note: these are test runs which may be subject to change or cancellation at the last minute. Please check before heading out to see 70000 Britannia.

Tuesday 22nd January 2019 will see the locomotive operating on the mainline between Crewe and Chester.

The test runs will be operated by Locomotive Services TOC Ltd, who are connected to Icons of Steam – who own 70000 Britannia.

Running twice on Tuesday, 70000 Britannia will operate via Beeston Castle between Crewe and Chester. Timings can be found below for timings for each day:
