Where and when to see steam locomotive 45596 Bahamas in Stratford-upon-Avon this Tuesday

After decades off the mainline, 45596 Bahamas will return to the mainline this Tuesday as it undergoes tests after its completed overhaul.

Test runs will take place on the 15th January 2019 between Tyseley Steam Trust and Stratford-upon-Avon.

Departing Tyseley at 13:20, the Jubilee class of locomotive will head via Tyseley Up and Down Sidings (13:37),  Whitlocks End (14:01), Henley-in-Arden (14:17) and Bearley Jn (14:25) before arriving into Stratford-upon-Avon at 14:31.

After around 90 minutes, the locomotive will depart Stratford-upon-Avon at 15:52, and will then head via the same route as the outbound journey – heading via Henley-in-Arden (16:08), Wood End (16:21), Whitlocks End (16:29) and Tyseley Up and Down Sidings (16:39) before arriving into Tyseley Steam Trust at 17:12.
