WATCH: Drone footage as steam locomotive Russell heads for Beddgelert

Drone footage has been released showing Russell heading for Beddgelert on the Welsh Highland Railway.

The reason for Russell heading for Beddgelert was for a test run/gauging run ahead of its visit to the Welsh Highland Past Present and Future Gala in 2019.

This stunning drone footage, sent into us by Will Stratford, shows the Welsh Highland Railway from a very different perspective, doesn't it look beautiful!

Its brilliant to see Russell back on her home stomping ground, we look forward to hopefully attending the gala in 2019!

Russell will be attending the gala alongside the newly announced Hunslet 303 – an event definitely not to be missed!
